Giardino di Casa Lajolo

Villa settecentesca circondata da un ampio e curato giardino articolato su tre livelli. Il primo, adiacente la facciata, è una terrazza di ghiaino punteggiata da alte palme (Phoenix canariensis). Il secondo, un po' più basso e raccordato al primo da scalinate in pietra, accoglie un ampio giardino all'italiana, ornato da basse siepi in bosso e da un viale laterale chiuso da alte siepi in tasso e ortensie. Infine il terzo, che cinge al piede la proprietà, ospita il frutteto e alcuni pergolati fioriti.

Dated back to XVIII century, the villa was set by Aleramo Chialamberto until it passed to Lajolo family. In that time, the garden was set in its actual geometry made by three terraces downwards, jointed by stone staircases and well integrated into landscape around. The first, close to the villa, is a terrace in gravel stones pointed by palms. The second, downstairs, is a wide terrain with formal italian style garden bordered by boxwoods and closed by an allèe with tall yew and flowerings. in the third, at the end of the slope, a fruit orchard and pergolas of roses.
